MAP collects donated items, stores them in a warehouse, then distributes them at no charge to people who are in need and people who are formerly homeless. Pick-up at your home can be arranged.

United Methodist Free Store
Appliances, all household items (including decorations/artwork), baby items, clothing (adult, children's, baby), TOYS (desperately needed), and toiletry items (even partially used) -- NO FURNITURE
Disadvantaged families can come in and "shop" at the free store for items they need. They are allotted a certain number of items per member of the family per visit. The store serves thousands of families annually.

JOIN (Joint Organization for Inner City Needs)
Adult clothing, shoes, non-perishable food items
This organization accepts donations of clothing which are then distributed to the needy downtown. Many of the residents of Faith Mission's men's shelter and women's shelter (Nancy's Place) go to JOIN for free clothing.

Drop-In Center for Homeless Youth of Columbus
Food items: milk, condiments, cereal, frozen food, and bread
Clothing items suitable for youth ages 14-20 - especially need new socks, new undergarments, and large jackets
Clothing items appropriate for job interviews, including dress socks, ties, shoes, dress pants and sport coats
Basic hygiene supplies and house-cleaning supplies
This is a drop-in center for homeless youth in Columbus, located east of the OSU campus in an underprivileged area of the city. They appreciate any help you are willing to give so that these kids can have the opportunity to be on equal footing as their peers and become productive members of a community.
